AVS beat Estoril 3-0 on Sunday at the Estádio Clube Desportivo das Aves to claim their first Liga Portugal win of the season.
Adriel kept the hosts level before the break, saving early efforts from Alejandro Orellana and Ricard Sánchez as Estoril controlled long spells of possession.
In the 54th minute, Diego Duarte pounced from the centre of the box to open the scoring. Pedro Lima later departed injured, with Óscar Perea introduced from the bench, and the hosts stayed organised.
Tomane doubled the lead with a crisp strike from outside the area (75.). Substitute Angel Algobia then sealed it in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time, converting after Nene's pass.
AVS attempted 15 shots despite having just 29.3% possession. Estoril dominated the ball at 70.7% but produced only two shots on target from 12 attempts and nine corners.
Next, AVS visit Benfica. Estoril host Gil Vicente.
