Edina Alves Batista, a 46-year-old Fifa-Pro referee from São Paulo, will take charge of Santos v Mirassol at Vila Belmiro on Sunday at 18:30, in round 24 of the Brasileirão.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Neuza Ines Back and Fabrini Bevilaqua Costa, both from São Paulo, are the assistants, with Marco Aurelio Augusto Fazekas Ferreira from Minas Gerais on VAR.

This year she served as AVAR2 in Santos’ 2-1 win over Noroeste at Alfredo de Castilho in the Paulistão. She also refereed the Sereias’ 1-0 defeat to São Paulo in Santana de Parnaíba in the women’s Paulista.

In 2024 she refereed Santos’ 1-0 win over São Paulo at Morumbis in the group stage. She was also fourth official for the 2-0 loss to Palmeiras at Allianz in the second leg of the final, both in the Paulista.

In 2023 she took charge of two Paulistão matches at Vila Belmiro, a goalless draw with Água Santa and a 2-2 draw with Corinthians. In 2022 she oversaw a 3-0 home defeat to São Paulo, after which the club sent a letter to the FPF regarding refereeing errors and controversies.

In 2020 she officiated a 2-0 defeat to Ituano at Estádio Novelli Júnior in the Paulistão.
