According to GE, the CBF has earmarked Wednesday, two September as the provisional date for the postponed Brasileirão match between Flamengo and Mirassol.
Both clubs have been notified and a final confirmation is expected on the official league schedule in the coming days. Local security authorities have approved the fixture.
The CBF has reserved the next two weeks for the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals. With neither Flamengo nor Mirassol still involved, the gap opens a slot for the rearranged game.
The original meeting at the Maracanã was due on 25 February but was postponed because Flamengo were involved in the Recopa Sudamericana against Lanús. The Argentine side won the trophy 4-2 on aggregate.
Flamengo entered the Copa do Brasil in the fifth phase to face Vitória, winning 2-1 at home before losing 2-0 away to exit the tournament.
Mirassol also began in the fifth phase, eliminating Red Bull Bragantino with a 3-2 win, then going out to Grêmio after a 1-1 draw in the first leg and a 1-0 defeat in the decider.
Meanwhile, Flamengo visit Cruzeiro on Saturday, 22, in round 24 of the league, with kick-off at 20:30 Brasília time at the Mineirão in Belo Horizonte.
