The Egyptian national team will face Nigeria in crucial friendly clash as part of their final preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 scheduled to be held in Morocco.

Closed training camp kicks off

Egypt began closed training camp today 7 December with the aim of fine tuning the squad and building momentum before heading to AFCON.

Egypt will open their tournament campaign on 22 December against Zimbabwe followed by South Africa on 26 December before wrapping up the group stage against Angola on 29 December.

Director of the Egyptian national team confirmed that the friendly fixture against Nigeria has been officially rescheduled.

The Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026 featuring 24 participating nations.
