Helmy Toulan coach of Egypt’s B national team has revealed the squad for the preparatory camp ahead of the 2025 Arab cup in Qatar.

The team will gather on Sunday in Cairo before traveling to Morocco on Monday morning to play two friendlies against Morocco & Bahrain on 9 & 12 October.

  • Goalkeepers: Ahmed El Shenawy, Ali Lotfi, Mahmoud Gad
  • Defenders: Mahmoud Rizk, Mohamed Ismail, Ahmed Sami, Mahmoud Hamdy El Wensh, Yassin Marei, Omar Gaber, Ahmed Hany, Yahia Zakaria, Karim El Debes
  • Midfielders: Akram Tawfik, Amr El Solia , Sam Morsy, Ghanem Mohamed, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Omar El Saaiy, Ahmed Atef, Mido Gaber, Mostafa Saad Messi, Karim Hafez, Mostafa Shalaby
  • Forwards: Marwan Hamdy, Mohamed Sherif

Absentees

The squad will miss Mohamed Elneny, Hussein El Shahat and Zlaka due to injury.

Next Steps

The team will begin training in Cairo on Sunday before departing to Morocco at 6:00 AM GMT on Monday to complete the final preparations.

Egypt has been drawn into Group C for the Arab cup alongside Jordan, the UAE and the winner of Kuwait vs Mauritania in the playoff.
