Eintracht Frankfurt have completed the signing of Bayern midfielder Noel Aseko for around €13 million, with the 20-year-old agreeing a contract until 2031.
According to BuLi News, the Europa Conference League participants moved after talks between the clubs following the Nathaniel Brown saga. Aseko spent last season on loan at Hannover in 2. Bundesliga.
Berlin-born Aseko joined Bayern from Hertha BSC in 2022, signed his first professional deal in 2024, and departs without a first-team debut.
He made 32 league appearances for Hannover last term, scoring three goals and supplying six assists as Christian Titz’s side narrowly missed promotion. He posted top-five numbers in 2. Bundesliga for duels, distance covered and top speed, and is a current Germany Under-21 international.
Eintracht’s board member for sport Markus Krösche said the club are confident their set-up can help Aseko develop in the Bundesliga and that his displays in a physically demanding league show he has the attributes to take the next step. Aseko said joining Eintracht means a lot to him, praised the open talks and clear development plan, and called the move an important step in his career.
