Leeds United will face off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium on Saturday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Whites were held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford recently, so they would be eager to return to winning ways in the league.

Daniel Farke will set his players up in a 3-4-3 formation and is expected to make a couple of changes to his first team for this game. Nico Elvedi and Harry Wilson could both play from the start of this contest.

Defence

James Trafford will feature in between the sticks for the Whites after conceding one goal in his last outing. Tarik Muharemovic, Jaka Bijol and Nico Elvedi will make up Farke’s back three as they focus on keeping a solid shape at the back throughout the game.

Joe Rodon will be sidelined for this game due to a thigh injury. However, Gabriel Gudmundsson will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Ethan Ampadu and Anton Stach will anchor the midfield for the West Yorkshire club as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.

James Justin will try to catch the eye on the left flank, while Jayden Bogle hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the right-sided wide player. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well before they try to make some overlapping runs out in the wide areas.

Ao Tanaka and Sean Longstaff will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Noah Okafor will try to impress as the left-winger, while Harry Wilson hopes to make a difference on the right flank. Both of them will have to carry most of the creative burden for Leeds inside the Brighton half.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the charge for the West Yorkshire club up top. He has to find a way to be a real threat on the offensive end of the field.

Lukas Nmecha and Daniel James will have to settle for a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if needed.
