Elye Wahi has been authorised to enter Canada and is likely to face Germany, according to BuLi News.

The Ivory Coast striker, 23, initially had his visa denied over reported spot-fixing allegations, then authorisation was delayed while Canadian authorities sought more information about his legal situation. That decision has now been overturned.

It had been looking increasingly likely the on-loan Eintracht Frankfurt forward would miss the match against Julian Nagelsmann's side.

The issue appears resolved for the time being, so Wahi should be available for selection.

Ivory Coast play Germany in their second World Cup Group E fixture.
