Endrick has seen precious little game time at Real Madrid this season despite a Brazil call-up, and another January loan could be explored to keep his progress on track.

RMC Sport reports that Brazil’s federation is unhappy with his lack of minutes and would support a winter-window loan, and the same report links AC Milan and Roma with moves.

Under new coach José Mourinho, the 20-year-old has played only four minutes, coming on in the league against Elche on 15 September.

With Kylian Mbappé and compatriot Vinicius Jr ahead of him, the right winger looks unlikely to secure a regular starting berth this season.

Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has said he believes Endrick will become an important player for the national team. After selecting him for the last World Cup, he has recalled the forward for a double-header against Australia and a match with India during this international break.

Last season, after limited minutes under Xabi Alonso, he joined Lyon in January for four months, delivering eight goals and eight assists in 21 matches, a stint that helped him secure a World Cup place.

A year on, similar circumstances remain, and with several suitors circling, a Lyon return appears unlikely.
