Endrick will discover next week whether Carlo Ancelotti confirms him in Brazil’s squad for March friendlies, with Neymar also under consideration.

Brazil are due to face France and Croatia on 26 and 31 March. According to Globo, Neymar’s return has been reported and Endrick is on the preliminary list, as is Brentford striker Igor Thiago. The final squad will be announced on 16 March.

Although going through a trickier spell at OL, he delivered two assists against OM in the 2-3 on the first of March and remains firmly on Brazil’s radar.

On loan from Real Madrid, he is aiming to revive his prospects in Lyon, with the World Cup to be staged in the United States, Mexico and Canada from 11 June to 19 July.

To date he has played 10 matches for OL, scoring five and supplying four assists. On Thursday he is due to make his Europa League debut, the round of 16 first leg against Celta Vigo, having been ineligible for the final league-phase matches in January.
