Manchester United remain hot on the heels of Real Madrid starlet Endrick ahead of 2026. The Brazilian forward’s future hangs in the balance after a disappointing start to the campaign under Xabi Alonso.

Endrick arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2024 and enjoyed a decent debut campaign. The 19 year old was in and out of the starting XI under former manager Carlo Ancelotti, finishing the season with seven goals and one assist in 37 appearances.

However, he is yet to feature under Xabi Alonso this season, despite being fully fit and available. Endrick was an unused substitute for Los Blancos’ last eight matches across competitions, further fuelling speculation regarding his future.

With the player struggling for game time, a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu could help him secure regular football and keep him in contention for a place in Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad.

Recent reports suggest that United are among the clubs eyeing a move for the young forward at the turn of the year.

United eyeing further additions to the attack

The Premier League giants strengthened their attack over the summer with the additions of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.

However, the chance to snap up someone like Endrick may prove too tempting to turn down. The Brazilian is highly rated across European and is expected to take the footballing world by storm soon.

A recent report relayed by The Peoples Person states that the Red Devils are even prepared to offer Kobbie Mainoo in a swap loan deal for the former Palmeiras star.

However, it now appears that Real Madrid have set a few criteria to offload Endrick in January.

Real Madrid will only consider a temporary exit

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid have no intention of cashing in on Endrick under any circumstances. The LaLiga giants, however, are willing to consider a loan move in January and have already outlined three requirements for the same.

Any club interested in the young forward will need to pay a loan fee for his services, cover his entire wages and also present a clear plan that will support the player’s development.

Los Blancos, understandably, want to protect their asset and ensure he is guaranteed game time throughout his proposed stay.

With Joshua Zirkzee’s future uncertain, United will need to pay close attention to these demands if they are to secure the Brazilian’s signature in the winter transfer window.

The Red Devils will face competition from Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in the race as well. United will also have to convince Endrick to join them despite not being able to offer European football.
