Enzo Vagner, the 20-year-old Brazilian forward from Coritiba, has arrived at Le Mans and signed on loan. It is the first move of a player between the two clubs owned by Brazilian investment fund Outfield.
The transfer is expected to be made official on Wednesday, after Djibril Sidibé was confirmed on Tuesday and Raul Torrente on Wednesday morning.
The deal is a loan with no fee and no option to buy, though there could be room to agree terms if Le Mans wished to keep him.
At 1.88 m, Vagner is viewed as a player with potential. He has made only one appearance in Serie A, Brazil’s top division.
This is Le Mans’ eighth incoming of the window and it could be their penultimate of the summer. The newly promoted Ligue 1 side are now targeting another striker to start.
