Preselected earlier, Côme captain Lucas Da Cunha is among the 23 Bleus chosen by Zidane for four Nations League games.

Zinédine Zidane's tenure began on Friday with his first squad announcement, revealed in a pre-recorded video. Da Cunha could face Italy on 2 October at 20:45 during this three-week international window, which also includes Türkiye on 25 September at 20:45, Belgium on 28 September at 20:45, and a match on 5 October at 20:45. He is the first player from the Loire selected since Loïc Perrin in 2014.
