La Liga outfit Espanyol have this weekend inched ever closer to a transfer agreement with German heavyweights Bayern Munich, over the signing of Bryan Zaragoza.
Winger Zaragoza is for his part fresh off his third successive loan stint away from Munich over the 2nd half of last season. After taking his talents to Italy with AS Roma, however, the 24-year-old struggled on his way to just four Serie A appearances.
Zaragoza, in turn, was forced to head back to Bavaria this summer, despite playing no part in the plans of his parent employers for the season ahead.
But as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from Spain is anything to go by, then a fresh return to his home country now appears to be on the cards for the talented attacker.
As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Espanyol are closing in on deal to sign Bryan Zaragoza from Bayern! Details being discussed on initial loan deal with buy clause: Zaragoza said yes to the move tonight.’
