Nuno Espirito Santo praised the strength of his West Ham squad after they battled to a 3-2 victory over Bolton.
The Hammers made it three wins in the space of a week, but the Hammers boss was more pleased with the contributions coming from across his squad during a demanding run of fixtures.
“I’m more pleased with the way the squad is helping [than the fact we’ve won three games in a week], and a lot of players are helping,” he said.
“It’s a very tough schedule, so players are coming from the bench and helping.
“With this schedule, it’s so demanding. All of the squad is going to be needed.”
West Ham face another quick turnaround with their next game coming on Friday against Wrexham, and Nuno says the focus has immediately switched to recovery.
“It’s a big turnaround to Friday. They’re already recovering. It’s all about that. Trying to solve the games,” he said.
“It’s not always possible to be beautiful and play good.
“Having this team spirit, this fight that they get for every ball, duels, it’s tough, tough, but I’m really, really happy.”
