Randal Kolo Muani is struggling so badly for confidence that he failed to register a shot on target even in Juventus’s closed-door friendly against Cremonese, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Juventus pulled out all the stops to reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain and sign the Frenchman during the summer. The Bianconeri were encouraged by his performances during his loan spell at the club in the second half of the 2024/2025 season.

Kolo Muani had a difficult campaign last term and struggled during his loan spell at Tottenham. Nevertheless, Juventus believed he could perform well in Turin and decided to sign him.

Kolo Muani struggling again

So far, Kolo Muani has performed poorly, and he still appears to be some distance from returning to his best form. He failed to make a serious impact against Cremonese, producing no shot on target during the match.

Juventus played the friendly with players who had remained behind during the international break. Supporters would have expected the Bianconeri to dominate the fixture, but the match did not develop that way.

Kolo Muani struggled once again, with his lack of confidence becoming increasingly apparent. His difficulties in front of goal have now become a concern for the club as it looks for greater consistency from its attacking players.

Juventus will continue to trust him

The report suggests that Kolo Muani is becoming a genuine problem for the men in black and white. However, he is not expected to be dropped from the starting line-up any time soon.

Juventus invested heavily to bring him back to the club because of what he achieved during his previous spell. The Bianconeri therefore remain hopeful that he can rediscover the form that made him such an effective player during the second half of the 2024/2025 season.

For now, Kolo Muani must work to rebuild his confidence and become more involved in Juventus’s attacking play. His display against Cremonese offered little encouragement, but the club appears ready to give him more opportunities to recover his best form.
