Everton Cebolinha completes Santos move, to link up with Neymar and wear number 7 | OneFootball

Everton Cebolinha has left Flamengo to join Santos, with the chance to share a dressing room with Neymar. The Brazilian club confirmed the winger’s arrival.

Aged 30, he terminated his Flamengo contract before signing a deal through to the end of 2026. The agreement includes an option to extend by a further two seasons.

He will wear the number 7 at Vila Belmiro, the shirt vacated following the departure of Robinho Jr.

Before returning to Brazil, he spent 2020/21 and 2021/22 at Benfica, making 95 appearances in all competitions with 15 goals and 11 assists. He left Lisbon without silverware then moved to Flamengo.

He could make his debut on Saturday against Cruzeiro, coached by Artur Jorge, in the 27th round of the Brasileirão at Vila Belmiro. He is expected to be in contention.
