Everton are interested in bringing Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz to the Hill Dickinson Stadium club, according to Sky Sports.

The Toffees are closing in on a deal for Palace attacker Brennan Johnson, and manager David Moyes could end up taking two players from Selhurst Park this window.

Everton want a new right-back this summer, and Munoz has emerged as a concrete target.

The Colombian has two years left on his contract with the Eagles, while they also hold the option for a further year.

The Toffees target has played over 100 games for Palace since joining from Genk in January 2024, and Munoz brings plenty of experience and quality to the table.

However, Eagles manager Pierre Sage could be desperate to hold on to the 30-year-old as he prepares for life in the Premier League.

The Frenchman replaced Oliver Glasner in June and will be keen to retain some key players heading into next season.

Everton will hope they can get a deal for Munoz over the line, having been linked with a couple of right-backs so far this summer.

The Colombian made five appearances for his country at the just-concluded World Cup, scoring twice.

Munoz can also play as a winger, with tackling, passing and intercepting the ball some of his greatest strengths.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Djed Spence, Celtic’s Alistair Johnston and RB Leipzig right-back Ridle Baku have also all emerged as options for the Toffees in recent weeks.
