Everton travel to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon looking to make it three wins from three in all competitions under David Moyes.

The Toffees have started the new campaign impressively with a 2-0 win in their Premier League opener before a resounding victory in the Carabao Cup.

Now Bournemouth provide a much tougher test, with Everton aiming to begin a Premier League season with consecutive victories for the first time since 2020/21.

Moyes will be delighted with the early signs from his Everton side. The Toffees have yet to concede and looked impressive in midweek against Preston North End.

However, the Scot is likely to rotate his side after making only three changes for the midweek victory.

Thierno Barry will retain his place thanks to his stellar form that saw him net in the Premier League against Crystal Palace and bag a hat-trick at Deepdale.

Barry is already just four goals short of his entire total from last season.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has also continued his excellent scoring form.

He has now scored nine Premier League goals for Everton since the beginning of last season, doing so from an expected goals tally of just 4.3.

However, Bournemouth will hope to spoil their party.

Marco Rose’s side led Manchester City until the 84th minute in their league opener before conceding twice to suffer a 2-1 defeat.

The loss ended their club-record 18-game unbeaten league run.

The Cherries have an excellent record against Everton, winning nine of their last 12 meetings across all competitions.

However, Everton won the most recent meeting 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium last season, with Jack Grealish scoring the decisive goal.

Moyes will hope his side can repeat that result and finally end their poor record in opening away games.

Hayden Hackney is a doubt after rolling his ankle during last weekend’s win. Moyes described the midfielder as “touch and go” for Saturday.

The 24-year-old Englishman should start though.

Garner will likely continue in the centre of midfield after making his first start since recovering from a hernia operation.

He is still short of his best and needs more match minutes. Moyes is expected to make around four changes from the Preston game.

Christian Norgaard remains sidelined and is not expected to return quickly, while Tim Iroegbunam is also unavailable with an adductor injury.
