Monaco attacker Folarin Balogun is set to undergo a medical with Everton before he finalises his move to the Merseyside outfit, according to Toffees insider The Bobble.
Adding to the centre forward department is high on Everton’s agenda this summer but they have yet to bring in a player.
Beto is set to seal his exit from Everton, as he is close to returning to Serie A with Fiorentina – he was videoed arriving in Italy yesterday – and in the event of that transfer, David Moyes will be left with a shortage of options in that area.
In recent days, Everton came close to bringing back Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur with Spurs happy to let the Brazilian go, but that move is not happening.
Balogun has also been firmly on Everton’s radar and they have been making real progress in signing him from Monaco.

Everton went in with a bid convince Monaco to sanction a move for Balogun, who wants to join the Merseyside outfit.
Monaco acknowledged the 25-year-old’s desire to join Everton and started working with the Toffees to find a solution regarding his future.
Everton and the Ligue 1 outfit have now found an agreement which will see Moyes’ side pay a hefty £40m to Monaco to acquire his services.
It has been claimed that Balogun is now set to undergo a medical with Everton before putting pen to paper.

Everton will now look for Balogun to quickly come through the tests and get him in through the door before the window closes.
The player came through the academy set-up of Arsenal and in 2023 moved to Monaco to secure regular football.
Last season, Balogun scored 19 times for the Ligue 1 outfit in all competitions and earned a place in the USA’s 2026 World Cup squad, where he also netted three goals.
