According to Get French Football News, Everton are reported to have reached an agreement with Monaco to sign Folarin Balogun.

The 25-year-old striker is finalising the last personal details this evening and is expected to return to England. The deal is valued at 45m, with a further 5m in bonuses and a percentage of any future fee for Monaco. He remains under contract with the Monegasques until 2028.

An Arsenal academy graduate, Balogun sharpened his game in France with standout spells at Stade de Reims and Monaco.

Since arriving at Monaco in summer 2023, he has played 91 times in all competitions, scoring 31 goals and providing 13 assists.

Born in New York City, the United States international has 31 caps. He featured at the World Cup this summer, scoring three and registering one assist.
