Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie has given his prediction ahead of Luton Town's clash against Plymouth Argyle this weekend.
Two sides relegated from the Championship are set to go head-to-head in League One this weekend, with Luton Town welcoming Plymouth Argyle to Kenilworth Road.
Both sides have had mixed fortunes since dropping into the third tier, with Luton sitting in sixth after six matches, while Plymouth find themselves in 18th despite having played an extra game.
Both sides are looking to bounce back to the Championship at the first time of asking, with this weekend's hosts being one of the firm favourites for promotion after their shock double relegation.
Speaking exclusively to Football League World, Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie has given his thoughts ahead of Saturday's encounter.
"Obviously, both of these sides were recently relegated, and one in Luton being firm favourites for promotion, it's a tough one," said Hendrie. Mentioning that both sides "haven't really found their rhythm."
Luton secured a dominant 3-0 win on their travels against Burton Albion last time out before the international break, while Plymouth bounced back from a 4-0 defeat against Cardiff by beating Stockport 4-2 at Home Park.
"Both sides have picked up good results in their last two games," said Hendrie, acknowledging the respective clubs' recent form.
"It will be a tough one for Plymouth. I feel that Luton may have a bit too much for them. It's a tough place to go. So, I am going to go for a 2-0 Luton win."
Out of the three sides relegated from the Championship, Plymouth have struggled the most under Tom Cleverley, with the Pilgrims sitting in 18th after seven League One matches.
Luton themselves are yet to fully kick into gear after being firm favourites for promotion. In comparison, fellow relegated side Cardiff City are sitting comfortably at the top of the division after securing five wins out of six in the league, carrying a game in hand over second-place Doncaster.
After being relegated from the Premier League a year and a half ago, it is a shock for Luton to even find themselves in League One - but the quality in their squad still places them as one of the favourites to be at the thick end of the promotion race come May.
Plymouth are looking to settle down after the Championship proved too much for them last term. While they did undergo somewhat of a resurgence under Miron Muslic, the Pilgrims never looked quite ready for the second tier.
After a rocky start to life back in League One, a good result this weekend could kickstart their season under their new manager. However, as Hendrie mentioned, it will be a tough ask to go and get something from Luton on their own turf.
