Stoke City are lining up a blockbuster end to the summer transfer window, and as Mark Robins looks to add the finishing touches to his Potters squad, a late move for the highly-coveted Amario Cozier-Duberry could be on the cards.

Football League World can exclusively reveal that Stoke are lining up a deadline-day swoop for Brighton and Hove Albion winger Cozier-Duberry, but are not alone in the chase.

The winger has been on the radar of almost every club in the Championship this summer after an impressive loan spell in League One with Bolton Wanderers, as Stoke make a late push to bring the former Arsenal academy forward to the Potteries.

Cozier-Duberry, 21, has been a name on the tip of almost every Championship side's tongue over the past few months, with his future yet to be decided.

The England youth international has been the subject of a rejected £5 million bid from Belgian side Anderlecht and a rejected £7.5 million bid from Scottish side Rangers this window, as Brighton weigh up his future.

Darren Witcoop reported via X last week that Cozier-Duberry has been offered a new deal at the Amex, with the likes of West Ham United, Middlesbrough, Burnley, Cardiff City, Millwall, Swansea City, and Wolverhampton Wanderers all interested in a loan deal.

However, FLW can now reveal that Stoke have joined the hunt for his signature, and hope to seriously challenge their division rivals for his services before 11pm tonight.

Stoke are prepared to potentially part ways with star winger Sorba Thomas before the deadline, with Hull City heavily interested in bringing the Welshman to Humberside.

Hull have reportedly agreed a deal worth a guaranteed £7 million, with £3 million in add-ons with the Potters for the 27-year-old, as his departure will be a huge blow for the club.

Thomas grabbed 21 direct goal contributions in the Championship last season, more than double the next best in the squad, and with George Hirst their only new attacking addition at this stage, it becomes clear why Cozier-Duberry has entered Robins' crosshairs.

Although best off the right, where he can cut in on his left foot, the Brighton winger's addition could allow others, like Million Manhoef, to operate elsewhere in the final third, as this deal is set to go to the wire.

Stoke are looking to finalise deals for Luca Bombino and Jack McGlynn before the deadline today.

Bombino, 20, is a left-back from San Diego, and will arrive for around $5 million (£3.6 million), whilst McGlynn, 23, will join from Houston Dynamo for around $5.5 million (£4m), including add-ons.

More are expected in and out of the doors at the bet365 Stadium on Tuesday, with FLW revealing that Cozier-Duberry could be one of those, although the Potters would have to overcome intense competition for his signature to make that a reality.
