According to a fresh update from AS, Real Madrid forward Rodrygo is fully committed to staying at the club despite increasing speculation about his future.
The outlet assures that the Brazilian attacker is fully focused on reversing his current situation and earning the trust of new manager Xabi Alonso during the 2025/26 season.
Rodrygo is expected back at Valdebebas today, marking nearly two months since his last appearance at the club’s facilities.
His return signals intent that he is not looking for an exit. Instead, he wants to regain his influence within the squad and reclaim his status as an undisputed starter under Xabi Alonso.
For Real Madrid, the situation is clear. The club has never pushed Rodrygo toward the exit, nor have they suggested any willingness to offload him.
The only condition they have maintained is that any potential departure would only be considered if a firm offer of at least €90 million is made.

That valuation is non-negotiable and reflects Rodrygo’s age, achievements, including two Champions League and three La Liga titles, and his standing as a Brazil international.
So far, none of the clubs reportedly interested in Rodrygo, including Tottenham Hotspur, have submitted a concrete bid. And with three years still remaining on his contract, there is no pressure on Madrid to negotiate.
His long-term deal gives the club control over the situation and prevents any risk of a free transfer in the near future.
As pre-season activities resume today, including a friendly in Innsbruck on August 12 and La Liga fixtures against Osasuna and Oviedo shortly after, Rodrygo will use these opportunities to show he belongs in Alonso’s plans.
The forward remains focused on proving his worth, hoping to put behind him the struggles he faced during the Club World Cup and carve out a more prominent role moving forward.
