According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Arsenal’s exit has shaken up the FA Cup before Leeds United visit West Ham, with the odds shifting and a fresh opening potentially emerging for the Whites.

Leeds face their Premier League rivals at the London Stadium on Sunday at 4.30pm, with the Irons and Whites bidding to claim the final semi-final place.

Saturday began with Manchester City beating Liverpool 4-0 at the Etihad, Erling Haaland scoring a hat-trick. Chelsea then routed League Two side Port Vale 7-0 at Stamford Bridge. Later, Championship hosts Southampton stunned leaders Arsenal 2-1.

If Daniel Farke’s side overcome West Ham, Leeds would have a one in three chance of drawing Championship opposition for a place in the final. A semi-final with Southampton would also offer the chance to avenge the May 2024 play-off final loss.

The outright market now has Manchester City 3-4 favourites, in from 10-3. Chelsea are 3-1 second favourites, in from 9-2. West Ham are 12-1, in from 16-1. Leeds United are 14-1, in from 20-1, as short as 11s with some firms. Southampton are 20-1, in from 66-1.
