Fabinho close to signing for Trabzonspor after landing in Türkiye | OneFootball

Trabzonspor have reached an agreement to sign Fabinho, the club said in a statement, with the Brazilian landing in Türkiye as the move nears completion.

On Monday the club shared images on social media of the former Liverpool midfielder on a plane wearing his prospective new shirt. His arrival had been scheduled for 10.30, French time.

The 32-year-old has been without a club since leaving Al-Ittihad in early July.

He will reunite with his former Liverpool team-mate Mohamed Salah. The pair played together from 2018 to 2023, winning the 2019 Champions League and the Premier League.

Beyond Trabzonspor, clubs in Türkiye are continuing a headline-grabbing window. The league has already welcomed Mason Greenwood, Romelu Lukaku, Dusan Vlahovic, Leandro Trossard and Nathan Aké.
