Fabio Capello: “Gasperini will need time.”

Former Roma manager Fabio Capello discussed Roma’s appointment of Gian Piero Gasperini.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Capello urged Roma fans and the club to have patience and allow Gasperini to work on his methods.

“Gasp will inevitably need some time to make his players understand his ideas and methods,” said Capello .”Which are very different from Ranieri’s.”

“I’m very curious about his adventure in Rome,” he added.

“The first match of the new season with Bologna should be interesting and unpredictable. Roma will immediately face a super well-oiled and top-level team, like that of Vincenzo Italiano, which is now a solid reality in our football.”
