Falkirk 1-0 Aberdeen at the Falkirk Stadium, Filip Lissah's second half header sealing a home win that lifts John McGlynn's side from eighth to sixth in the Scottish Premiership.
In the 58th minute Lissah glanced in Calvin Miller's cross from a set piece to break the deadlock.
Before that, Dimitar Mitov kept the Dons level, parrying efforts from Miller and Brad Spencer as the Bairns carried the early threat.
After the changes, the Dons went closest when Kevin Nisbet headed against the left post (69.). Mitov then saved from Brian Graham (87.), and Alfie Agyeman was also denied in the first minute of second half stoppage time.
There were brief stoppages for treatment to Scott Bain after the restart, but the Bairns' back line managed the closing stages.
The Bairns registered 21 attempts with seven on target. The Dons mustered seven attempts without testing Bain.
The result leaves the Dons dropping from seventh to eighth. Next, the Bairns visit St Mirren. The Dons visit Rangers next.
