In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we’ll highlight 10 players to consider adding to your team ahead of Matchday 4.

As a rule of thumb, we'll try to steer clear of the most obvious picks, instead focusing mainly on players who could offer great value as differentials.

Robin Gosens, Schalke 04 (Defender, 7.88M, 3%)

An attack-minded full-back, Gosens opened his goalscoring account for Schalke 04 against Union Berlin last week. With the Royal Blues now set to face Elversberg, the 32-year-old could take advantage of the space in behind that their fellow promoted side are likely to leave as part of their high-intensity attacking approach.

Ozan Kabak, Hoffenheim (Defender, 13.71M, 9%)

Kabak was a popular Fantasy option last week thanks to his duel-winning ability and threat from set pieces. While duels are less rewarding this season, that aspect of his game still gives him a solid floor. In addition, Hoffenheim have one of the most favourable match-ups of the weekend, with a trip to face Paderborn, who are yet to score in the Bundesliga this season.

Alphonso Davies, Bayern Munich (Defender, 16.14M, 1%)

Having worked his way back from injury, Davies has made a promising start to the season and scored his first goal in Bayern’s 5-0 demolition of Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League. He started on the bench against Elversberg last week but impressed after coming on, completing four dribbles. With the Canada captain expected to return to the starting XI, he looks like the most logical star man in defence this week.

Bambasé Conté, Hoffenheim (Midfielder, 6.12M, 2%)

Having provided three assists in four games across all competitions this season, Conté was one of the surprise inclusions in Jürgen Klopp’s first Germany squad. Operating in an attacking role for Hoffenheim, he looks like an excellent option at his price for their trip to Paderborn. However, his minutes and rotation risk are worth monitoring following Hoffenheim’s Europa League game on Thursday.

Adil Aouchiche, Schalke 04 (Midfielder, 6.91M, 5%)

One of the difference-makers in Schalke’s 3-1 win over 1. FC Union Berlin last week, Aouchiche offers significant upside against an Elversberg side that look unlikely to keep a clean sheet given their aggressive attacking approach.

Said El Mala, 1. FC Köln (Midfielder, 12.09M, 12%)

After being fit enough only to come off the bench in Köln’s 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen last week, El Mala has been cleared to return to the starting XI this week. Köln travel north to face crisis-hit HSV, who have conceded five goals in each of their last two matches. Investing in Köln’s attacking players therefore makes plenty of sense, with El Mala arguably the biggest difference-maker among them.

Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich (Midfielder, 22.3M, 1%)

With ownership at just 1%, Musiala offers excellent differential potential this week if he is named in the starting XI on Friday. His minutes are still being managed following his two pre-season collapses, but the German international, who scored his first goal of the season against Bodø/Glimt, can cause plenty of damage even in 60-70 minutes.

Mikey Moore, 1. FC Köln (Striker, 6.36M, 1%)

The Tottenham loanee has brought a breath of fresh air to Köln and has already shown plenty of his creativity, dribbling ability, pace and eye for goal. At 6.36M, he looks like an excellent value option as Köln head into a favourable fixture against HSV.

Adam Daghim, Hoffenheim (Striker, 8.81M, 5%)

The Danish forward has been an instant hit since his summer move, registering at least one goal involvement in each of his first three Bundesliga appearances. He has also played close to 90 minutes in each game, boosting his appeal as one of the more nailed-on options in the Hoffenheim attack ahead of their favourable trip to Paderborn.

Harry Kane, Bayern Munich (Striker, 37.18M, 17%)

Kane got on the scoresheet last time out, but he is yet to deliver the kind of returns that justify his hefty price tag. That could change this week, however, with Bayern facing a winless Union Berlin side that have conceded at least three goals in each of their first three league games.
