Farías joins San Lorenzo on 12-month loan with option | OneFootball

Facundo Farías has completed his move to San Lorenzo, joining on a 12-month loan from Estudiantes de La Plata that includes a purchase option.

According to Radiogol.com, the deal carries a 3 million dollar option to buy 70% of his economic rights. San Lorenzo will pay 60% of his salary, with Estudiantes covering the remaining 40%.

Néstor Gorosito made the forward a priority after previously coaching him at Colón, and specifically requested his arrival to bolster San Lorenzo’s attack.

Farías will aim in Boedo to recapture the influence he showed in his early Colón years. After a stint at Inter Miami and limited minutes at Estudiantes, he now has another chance under Gorosito.

The 22-year-old has completed his medical and signed his contract. San Lorenzo secure one of the window’s most anticipated additions, giving Gorosito an extra option up front.
