Chelsea midfielder Faustino Anjorin has signed a new five-year deal with the club.
Anjorin made his first-team breakthrough under manager Frank Lampard this season, starting in the 4-0 Carabao Cup win over Grimsby before appearing off the bench against Everton in March.
“It’s a brilliant feeling,” he told the official Chelsea website.
“I’ve been at the club since I was six years old, so to get to this stage and then be offered another five-year contract on top of that is amazing.
“I had no hesitation but to take it straight away. To play for the club I always dreamed of playing for is really special for me.”
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United were all reportedly interested in his services – but he opted to commit his future to the Blues.
