FC Porto adjust plans after late return from Prague | OneFootball

FC Porto’s preparations for Monday’s meeting with Gil Vicente were disrupted after a delayed return from Prague, with the squad landing in Porto around 18:00 on Friday. They had drawn in Czechia the night before.

According to O Jogo, flooding in the aircraft cabin made their plane unusable, prompting a replacement and pushing departure back by five hours.

A Friday afternoon session at CTFD Jorge Costa had been scheduled, but instead the coaching staff used the downtime to review the match and study Gil Vicente. Players were given information and footage to analyse.

The squad were set to complete only a light gym session on Friday, then rest on Saturday.

Preparation will resume and conclude on Sunday ahead of Monday’s game.
