FC Porto have confirmed Rodrigo Mora’s move to Roma. The club said in a statement that the Serie A side will take his registration and 50% of his economic rights for 25 million euros, with up to two million more in add-ons.

Roma hold options to acquire up to the remaining 50% for a further 25 million. Porto also retain an unconditional sell option at the same price, which would oblige Roma to buy whatever percentage Porto decide to sell.

If Roma do not take full ownership, Porto can instead sell all rights to guarantee at least 50 million, or keep a share to benefit from any future sale.

The sums due to Porto will not be reduced by the solidarity mechanism. The club will incur intermediary fees equal to 10% of the transaction.

An academy graduate, Mora made his professional debut for Porto B in January 2023, registering five goals and two assists in 34 games. He later featured for the first team, totalling 80 appearances, 16 goals and six assists, and winning a national title and the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira. Porto wished him well for the next stage of his career.
