Roma have officially announced their signing of 19-year-old Portuguese talent Rodrigo Mora on a permanent deal from FC Porto in a complicated deal that sees the Portuguese club hold onto a 50% sell-on clause.
Roma have been courting the teenage talent for several weeks following Gian Piero Gasperini’s public pleas for more attacking arrivals before the close of the summer transfer window.

Mora arrives at an initial cost of €25m, but at that price, Porto will retain a 50% sell-on clause. According to reports earlier this week, the Giallorossi will have an option to buy out that 50% sell-on clause by paying an additional €25m at a later date.
Mora has provided 16 goals and six assists from 80 competitive appearances across all competitions during his time in the Porto first team, including a particularly impressive 2024-25 campaign that saw him net 10 times from 23 appearances in the Portuguese top flight.
He will wear the no.86 shirt during his first season at the Stadio Olimpico.
