FC Bayern have extended attacker Felipe Chávez’s contract through to 30 June 2028 and agreed a loan move to 1. FC Magdeburg for this season. The 19-year-old Peru international previously gained Bundesliga experience on loan at 1. FC Köln in the second half of the last campaign.

Christoph Freund, FC Bayern sporting director: “’Pippo’ Chávez took the next step in his development with his outings for 1. FC Köln and should now gain more regular playing time at Magdeburg. We have extended his contract because we are convinced of his potential for the future."
