Felix Horn Myhre offered a playful nod to the Spanish heat as talk around his future gathers pace, with West Brom and Elche both linked with the SK Brann midfielder.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, West Brom want the 27-year-old to bolster head coach James Morrison’s midfield before the new Championship season, while La Liga side Elche are also reportedly keen.
Asked whether he would prefer Elche, based in Alicante, or West Brom in the Black Country next season, the Norway international said: "I honestly don’t know. The temperature in Spain is tempting after a summer like this."
Capped seven times, Myhre is viewed as one of the Eliteserien’s standout midfielders and primarily operates as a number eight. A bidding battle could yet develop for his signature.
He has around 18 months left on a Brann contract that runs to December 2027. Elche have tracked him before, with Bodo/Glimt and Brondby also linked.
Brann were also home to West Brom striker Aune Heggebo, who joined Albion in a £4.7 million move last summer. Myhre narrowly missed out on Norway’s World Cup squad, which included former Baggies defender Torbjorn Heggem.
