Chemsdine Talbi is drawing interest from Türkiye and Saudi Arabia after being left out of Sunderland’s Europa League squad, with uncertainty lingering over his future at the Stadium of Light.

Takvim reports that Super Lig rivals Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have placed the winger on their transfer agenda before Türkiye’s window shuts on Friday, having monitored his situation. Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad are also said to be interested, with Sunday their deadline to strike a deal.

The 10-cap Morocco international scored four goals and supplied two assists in 30 appearances last season as Sunderland booked a Europa League berth.

After a substitute outing in last month’s opening-day defeat at Ipswich Town, Talbi remained on the bench for last weekend’s home win against Fulham. News followed on Thursday that he had been omitted from the Europa League squad.

Speaking before this weekend’s trip to Brentford, head coach Regis Le Bris said a move could still happen despite the Premier League window closing earlier this week. He stressed respect for all parties, described Talbi as a good player with significant potential, and noted there is still a window to decide the right pathway.
