The return leg is next Thursday in Zabrze, where the Polish vice-champions will try to turn the tie around to avoid dropping into the Conference League.

Gornik have already fallen from the Champions League to the Europa League this summer after losing to Fenerbahçe in the second qualifying round, drawing 1-1 then losing 0-1.

The club are back in European competition after eight years away.
