Despite their financial handicaps, FC Barcelona have been one of the clubs most actively involved in this summer transfer window. The Blaugranes have already landed two new players to bolster their attack, i.e., Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi, but still continue to work on the signing of their top transfer target of the summer, the Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez.

Meanwhile, they are also reportedly close to completing a blockbuster signing of the Manchester City midfielder Rodri Hernandez, while also having made a lot of progress on getting Joao Cancelo from Al-Hilal permanently.

On the other hand, some of their own players have also been linked with moves away from the club. The most prominent of such players is the forward Ferran Torres, who has only a single year left on his contract with Barcelona, and has been closely linked with Paris Saint-Germain in the last few days.

These links have strengthened significantly since the end of the World Cup, and in its latest update, MARCA reports that the Spaniard’s entourage has already communicated to the Blaugrana club his desire to join the Ligue 1 side, and the two clubs have already been negotiating his transfer for some days now.

Meanwhile, Ferran and PSG have also reached a full agreement, and he is expected to sign a four-year contract with them. For now, only the clubs need to arrive at an agreement for this transfer to complete, and the Parisians are expected to pay €50 million for the Spaniard.
