Feyenoord defender keen on a move to Celtic

FR12 are reporting that Feyenoord defender Jordan Lotomba is keen on a move to Celtic. The 27-year-old has a contract with Feyenoord until 2027 but would like to move to Celtic after the Scottish clubs registered a bid for the right-back with Feyenoord. Given that the Scottish transfer window does not close until Thursday, there is more time for both clubs to fully flesh out the terms of the deal.

Feyenoord themselves signed Lotomba back in 2024 from Ligue 1 side Nice for around €2.2m, so it is likely that any deal with Celtic will be in that region or slightly above. Prior to playing for Nice, the right-back had broken through at Lausanne in his native Switzerland, where he played 42 games. In the summer of 2017 he joined Young Boys, going on to play 71 games. In the summer of 2020 he left Switzerland for France, joining Nice and playing 143 games for the side. Since joining Feyenoord he has played 41 games, with one goal and three assists. One of those assists came during the current Eredivisie season.
