Fiete Arp claims claims joining Bayern Munich this summer was ‘a dream come true’.

Arp arrived from 2. Bundesliga side Hamburg and was included in the club’s pre-season tour of America.

The 19-year-old is highly rated in Germany but admits that he still has plenty of improvements to make.

“It definitely did feel special joining Bayern,” he told the club’s official website.

“The names are bigger, the grounds are bigger and the facilities are amazing. Being around the lads now is a dream come true.

“I’ve never experienced anything like [the tour of the USA] but I think every player dreams about playing against Real Madrid for Bayern Munich.

“This whole trip; the destinations, the cities, the people you meet, it really is extreme.”

It remains unclear whether Arp will be involved in the first-team or reserve squad next season.
