Al-Ahli Saudi and Pyramids FC will face off this Tuesday, September 23 at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (Jeddah) as part of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

The winner of this match will lift a trophy named the “FIFA Africa-Asia-Pacific Cup” and will earn the right to challenge one of the two American representatives in the FIFA Challenger Cup, with the possibility of facing Paris Saint-Germain in the final.

The match will kick off at 18:00 GMT and will be broadcast on FIFA+ and Shahid.net. This will be the first ever encounter between the two sides.

Pyramids, winners of the CAF Champions League, advanced to this second round by defeating Auckland City (3-0) in the play-off.

It’s worth noting that Pyramids are only the second Egyptian club to take part in a FIFA club competition after Al-Ahly, who have participated 11 times.
