FIFA sought to recover car allocated to Noël Le Graët | OneFootball

FIFA sought to recover one of its cars that had been placed at Noël Le Graët’s disposal for Paris visits until the spring.

The governing body recently realised one of its official vehicles was missing, the same car assigned to Le Graët a little over three years ago. Le Monde reported that he used it during trips to Paris after leaving the French federation in February 2023, when he was appointed as Gianni Infantino’s delegate.

The vehicle was supplied by FIFA and driven by Le Graët’s personal chauffeur, an employee of his Brittany-based agri-food group. It was kept at the organisation’s Paris annexe.

Le Graët says he used the car at the start of his mission, then returned it when he stopped travelling regularly to Paris, citing health issues.

Now 84, he maintains he was never paid for the role and filed no expenses with FIFA. He says only some of his travel to Morocco and Mauritania was covered. FIFA did not respond to questions about the vehicle’s terms or its cost.
