São Paulo police identify fans after Corinthians’ Libertadores exit unrest | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, the São Paulo Civil Police have identified six supporters linked to an organised group over disorder after Corinthians were knocked out of the Conmebol Libertadores two weeks ago.

The group are said to have stopped cars near Neo Química Arena to identify players leaving after the 1-0 defeat to Estudiantes.

Those linked to Camisa 12 will begin giving statements at the Delegacia de Repressão aos Delitos de Intolerância Esportiva (Drade) on Monday.

Investigators are still seeking to identify other supporters believed to have been involved in the incident.

The investigation concerns the offence of promoting disorder under the Lei Geral do Esporte, which carries a ban on entering stadiums for up to three years.
