Filipe Luís faces five confirmed absentees for Flamengo v Madureira

Head coach Filipe Luís will be without five players for Flamengo’s Carioca semi-final second leg against Madureira on Monday 02, according to Coluna Do Fla.

Bruno Henrique is sidelined with pubalgia. Erick Pulgar felt muscle pain after the Lanús (ARG) game and was not named in the squad. The medical department ruled out Jorginho due to fatigue from the Recopa, as well as Léo Pereira. Saúl continues his recovery from surgery on his left heel.

Kick-off is 21:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã, live on SporTV, plus Premiere on pay-per-view.

Flamengo won the first leg 3-0, so they return home with a clear advantage.

They will go through if they win or draw, and also if they lose by fewer than three goals. A three-goal defeat would take the tie to penalties, while a margin of four or more would send Madureira through.
