Bild reports that Fiorentina have opened talks with Bayer Leverkusen over 22-year-old winger Ernest Poku.

The Dutchman has emerged as a concrete target for the Serie A club. He is said to rank highly on their shortlist, with sporting director Fabio Paratici identifying him as his preferred option on the flank.

It is unclear what Fiorentina would be willing to spend, though Leverkusen are thought to want around €25 million.

Sunderland and Nottingham Forest have also been linked this summer, but neither has pursued concrete negotiations so far.

Poku is under contract with Leverkusen until the summer of 2030.
