Corriere Fiorentino reports that Fiorentina are closing in on the signing of Ernest Poku from Bayer Leverkusen.
The report says an agreement is in place for an initial €5 million loan, followed by a mandatory purchase clause of €17-18 million that comes into effect in 2027.

If completed, Leverkusen could receive up to €23 million in total.
Leverkusen paid €10 million to sign Poku from AZ last summer, and he has since produced five goals and eight assists in 45 competitive appearances.
The Dutchman is close to leaving after one season, with Sunderland and Nottingham Forest having been linked but now appear to have missed out.
