According to the report, all contract documents were signed on Wednesday. The Moroccan international has also successfully completed his medical exam in the U.S. The official announcement by the German record champions is expected shortly.

Bayern will pay up to 55 million euros

According to consistent media reports, FC Bayern will pay a fixed transfer fee of 50 million euros to PSV Eindhoven. With bonus payments, the total package could rise to as much as 55 million euros.

Given Saibari’s current market value of around 40 million euros, the transfer fee seems high at first glance. However, his performances at the ongoing World Cup underscore why Bayern was willing to dig deep into its pockets.

The 25-year-old is one of the standout players on the Moroccan national team and has already scored three goals on the team’s run to the Round of 16.

Saibari is considered Bayern coach Vincent Kompany’s top transfer target. The Belgian had been working intensively to sign the versatile attacking player in recent weeks and had outlined his role at FC Bayern to him in personal conversations.

The Moroccan can play in attacking midfield as well as on the wings or as a center forward and is expected to make Munich’s offense significantly more versatile.

With the official announcement imminent, Saibari is FC Bayern’s first new signing for the 2026–27 season. The transfer of German national team player Nathaniel Brown is also nearing completion.
