Leeds United are targeting a rise up the table after Daniel Farke led them to 14th. According to Leeds Live, formalities are complete to sign Harry Wilson on a four-year deal after his Fulham exit.

With several players becoming free agents today, further business could follow. Here are five realistic options.

Union Berlin centre-back Danilho Doekhi, 28, is out of contract and was linked with Elland Road in January, though talk has cooled. Signing him for nothing could add leadership and technical assurance to Farke’s defence.

A reshuffle in goal is under way, with Illan Meslier leaving on a free. Stefan Ortega is also departing Nottingham Forest as a free agent, and his composed distribution fits Farke’s brief, even if he serves as back-up to a costlier recruit.

Left-back depth was an issue last season, so Tyrell Malacia, 26, now released by Manchester United, makes sense. Injuries have stalled him, yet a reset under Farke could revive his Premier League pedigree.

Playmaker Julian Brandt, 30, is viewed as the next priority after Wilson. The Borussia Dortmund creator is versatile, and while European heavyweights are circling, Leeds could offer a central role. No formal offer has yet gone in.

Tottenham’s retained list shows Yves Bissouma is available on a free, and his power could reshape Leeds’ midfield. If Farke harnesses him alongside Ethan Ampadu, the engine room would look far more robust.
