Flamengo arrived in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday ahead of their Copa Libertadores last-16 opener against Cruzeiro, and were welcomed at their hotel by supporters.

According to Globo.com, around 50 fans gathered at the team base after the delegation landed in the late afternoon and reached the hotel in the early evening.

Pedro drew the loudest cheers and paused to greet fans on his way in. Minas Gerais natives Danilo and Bruno Henrique stopped for photos and signed autographs. Arrascaeta also sparked excitement as he prepares to face the club he represented from 2015 to 2018.

The first leg is on Wednesday at 21:30 Brasília time at the Mineirão. The return is next Wednesday at the Maracanã, with the same kick-off time.

If the tie finishes level on points and goal difference after the two games, it will be decided by penalties.
